Too Much Fair Fun!

We love the fair!  However, the last time we were there, we looked like this...
Fast forward three years, and here we are now!!!  My little pumpkins have grown just a wee tad :(
We went Saturday afternoon with Papaw, D, and "Aunt Pay", aka Aaron's parents and sister, Paige.  When Berkley was younger, she couldn't correctly pronounce "Paige", and now that she can, well... we're all a little sad about it quite frankly :(  So, "Aunt Pay" it was :)  Kinda tempted to see if Paige would be willing to change her name to Pay so that Berkley can still call her "Aunt Pay" AND it be correct :)  It really was just THAT cute!!!

"Wait, you want me to feed THAT goat...that goat right there?!?" :)
Clearly Aaron is NOT willing to share the animal feed with Mr. Camel! :)
Having another flashback moment to Kenadie's first trip to the fair!  Pretty sure I will never forget her excitement and enthusiasm for this ride!!!  One of her cutest moments to date :)  This was two days before her 2nd birthday :)
Buzz, buzz, buzz...
Berkley says the bear ride that goes around and around and around was her favorite, but this alligator "coaster" sure was a close contender!
And because all good fairs have a sea lion show, right?!?  That would be my favorite :)
Finally, only after she had asked for the 73rd time, she got her cotton candy!
Fair loot!  New Testament bibles {that went to church with us the next day, by the way :)} and kettle corn!
Berkley, I need for you to know that at 3 1/2 years old, you do NOT like cotton candy because "it too ticky!"  However, suckers, ice cream, popsicles, and snow cones are all just fine!  Yea, those are not sticky at all, insert eye roll!  Often times, you make so much good sense, I don't even understand it!  No, really...you rarely make good sense when your comfort is involved!  Like how you cried your eyes out for 45 minutes the other day because you didn't want your hair in a bun for dance, but as soon as we got on the road, you were giddy with excitement about it and even told me you loved buns...that Mulan and Cinderella wore their hair in buns!!!  Thank you, deary pie, for the 45 minute cry-fest for no apparent reason :/  I love you for your moments like that...:)  Really, I do love you for ALL your moments!  And how you keep things REAL for our family :)

Signing off from the fair for 2014!  Unless that is, if Aaron wants to stop by and get another bag of the popcorn featured in above pic!  I kinda-sorta helped Berkley eat that in a very short span of time, ooops! :)
