Disney, Part 2 of 6

So, today was our first park day, and it was Hollywood Studios that we were off to!  The stroller we rented was plum awesome!!!  We could have pushed/steered it with a single puff of air!  Due to the fact that we have an "off the charts" tall five year old, it was a must!!!  Don't get me wrong, Aaron and Papa are some strong men :) I just don't think they could have carried her the amount of time she required being strolled :) She probably required/enjoyed the stroller more than B!  Best $80 we spent on the whole trip, well... besides the actual trip itself, of course!  She met the stroller height limit with 2" to spare, however, I didn't really see where she could grow 2 more inches and fit in the thing, but it worked, and that's all that mattered :)  One negative of a child being soooooo tall is that they outgrow things prematurely, they may look 8, when they're really just 5 :(  It may look like an 8 year old just fell asleep in her mommy's lap, but in all actuality, this 5 year old still takes a two hour nap!  Boy! am I chasing rabbits or what!?!  Ok, back to the Disney post...  Here is that awesome stroller I spoke of about 5 minutes ago!
Papa and Berkley on her first Disney bus ride :)
Goofy was the first character we saw, and this was Berkley's reaction, priceless!!!
She then proceeded to greet every other character in this same fashion, and it NEVER got old :)  I would go again tomorrow  just to watch her run and give them the biggest hug!  Another reason to take babies to Disney!  Kenadie isn't as awestruck at 5 years old :(  I do realize some kids may be terrified of the over-sized characters, but neither of mine were/are :)
Group shot!
These two...two peas in a pod!
The stroller worked great for napping too!
While Berkley naps, it's Star Tours for us!
Today's "change-up" was lunch at Sci-fi Dine-In.  We've done this before, it just had been a while.  Not tops on my list, but Aaron had grown a little tired of Hollywood & Vine, Play 'n Dine...  It's dark, so it's hard to see what you're eating, it's quiet because those around you are watching old "Sci-fi" movies and it's inconvenient to talk to the rest of your party because you're seated like this...  I sat back there with Papa!
Needless to say, we won't have to do Tower of Terror for a while!
But, nothing that a little Mickey ice cream can't fix, right???
Disney Junior-Live on Stage, her fav!
Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights, another GREAT reason to go at Christmas!
And, the day ended with a nap just before Fantasmic!
We make it to the bus stop to go back to the room and discover that my precious husband who despises contacts with almost all fibers of his being, has lost his glasses!!!!  Disaster!!!  He and I head back in the park while Papa and Kay Kay get the girls back to the room and in bed.  You may say to yourself "That's odd!  How would one lose the glasses straight off their face?"  The glasses were always back-up if his contacts started bothering him, to which they always do!  Contacts were first choice just so he could wear his sunglasses... Geez... Now adding an additional pair of glasses for back-up to our packing list for when your contacts fail you, and then you happen to lose your glasses!!!  Glasses were never found and we made a quick very long and poor use of time trip out to lost and found the following morning.

P.S. I wish my pictures weren't so blurry on blogger!  They're much clearer on my computer!

Disney, Part 1 of 6

All of my Instagram peeps, more than likely, felt like they went with us to Disney World about a month ago because I posted so many pics :) but for those that aren't, didn't, care, or don't care, here is part 1 of Disney!    We left on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and as usual, had a "magical" time!  Really, it wouldn't take much for Aaron to convince me to move there and me get a job in a gift shop on Main Street, I love it so much!

Since this was Kenadie's 3rd time to go, we decided to try changing it up a bit, and try out some new things! First on the list was the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian.  We did this the night we got there.  We enjoyed ourselves, the food was satisfactory, the show was nice, but I don't know that we will have to do it again... Remember, trying new things here!  I have been to two authentic Hawaiian luaus, and I will just say that the Hawaiians do it better :)  I would, in the terms of an online survey, "recommend it to a friend", we just have experienced it now, and will probably try out something different next time.

Happy to have my parents with us along for the ride!
The not-so-newlyweds :(  We're such old people these days...
She loved her little marshmallow on a stick thingy!
This little girl LOVED Disney World!!!  If you question that your 22 month old may be too young to enjoy anything, think again!!!  Kenadie was 12 mos her first trip.  I say, the younger, the better :)
Stay tuned!  5 more parts to come!  Now, now, don't go getting too excited or anything :)

Merry Christmas To All, and To All a Good Night!

It is 12:30 a.m., and I am kinda thinking that my giddiness to try out my new Keurig at 10 p.m. wasn't such a good idea... Guess I will have to pay for this tomorrow :/ Or....., MAYBE it wasn't such a bad thing because I am actually posting a Christmas post, only minutes after Christmas day!  That's pretty good, considering my last few posts have been tack-ish-ly late in appearing on here!

Hands down, BEST.CHRISTMAS.EVER!!!  Everything was perfect, and I'm a wee bit blue that it is coming to a close :(  From Kenadie's Christmas party at school last Thursday, to spending Christmas night with the Zumwalts, and EVERYTHING in between, it was perfect!  Definitely one of those times I wish I had a freeze button so that I could make time stand still, and just soak in every minute, well... maybe not those minutes spent running around like a chicken with  my head cut off, but for the most part, everything was overly enjoyable, and for that I am thankful!

Christmas Eve was spent wrapping those last few gifts, timing naps to keep everyone happy and afloat and in that jolly, Christmas spirit :), visiting with family, celebrating the birth of our Savior, attending our church's candlelight Christmas Eve service, chowing down on some yummy white chicken chili, baked ham and cheese sandwiches and caramel pie, and having children all nestled snug in their beds by about 8:30!

Christmas Eve, getting a few visits in before heading to church
My parent's tree, a repetitive background in numerous pics to come throughout this post.
Aaron is blessed to have BOTH sets of his grandparents!  I'm a little envious of people like that :)
 Aunt Pam & Grandma Sally
 Christmas morning!
2 little girls anxiously await going downstairs, but Mommy must get their pic first!
The Rapunzel hat was a hit!
As was all of her baby stuff!!!  I've only waited five years, but it looks like I may indeed have a little girl who loves baby dolls!  If you thought all little girls liked such, think again :(
This morning's wake time, 7:30!!!  I can count on one hand the times this has happened in the past 5 years!  Late sleepers they are not!
Like I said, the hat was a hit :)
Sometimes I can't get over how sweet this little girl is!  If you know her, and don't find the previous statement to be true, you should be her mommy :)
And this little girl is a sweetie too!  Big sister kind of set the bar a little high, but we're learning :)
Proceed with caution!!!  Lady with no make-up and crazy hair in following pic!  Keeping it real... It is Christmas morning!
Highlight for this little girl, getting "Fishy" the fish!  She had only made her request known no less than 100 times in the past week for a fish!  And when your little girl is moved to tears because she is so happy about something, yep, that fish that I will now have to look after and tend to, was totally worth it :)
 Love 'em!!!
Kay Kay prepares a delicious breakfast AND lunch!
But, it was a nap that was looking a little better than any food we put on her plate for Berkley!
 Annie enjoyed Christmas too!
Kenadie, Berkley, and Connor at Papaw and D's house for dinner and presents!
One who wasn't feeling well is already in his jammies :(
We love our boiled shrimp/corn on the cob/potatoes Christmas dinner with Papaw and D!
 Loving her new baby :)
Thankful for another year with my family, celebrating our Savior's birth!  Numerous times throughout the day, I was overcome with thankfulness.  We are blessed beyond measure.  Merry Christmas to you all!!!
