Catching On Quickly

Top two phrases Kenadie hears me say most:
1) "I love you!"
2) "Wait just a second, let me get my camera."

With that being said... I was in the kitchen and I hear Kenadie in the den calling for me, "Mommy, do you want to take my picture like this?"

And she was right :)

Side note for my documentation purposes: I might as well just be named Uniqua. She's from the Backyardigans and that seems to be what I am most called by Kenadie these days. Well, it's actually who I am when we are inside the house. When I am Uniqua, she is always Tyrone. Now, when we are in the front yard, for some reason, I am ALWAYS Rintoo and she is Tolee. These are characters from Ni Hao, Ki-lan. Also, when we are in the front yard as "Rintoo and Tolee", we ALWAYS see giraffe! It never fails :) The imagination of a two year old :)

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the most loving, caring, patient, giving, fun, most wonderful daddy in the world! Kenadie is way too lucky of a little girl to have you! Thank you, Aaron, for EVERYTHING you do for us to make us so happy.

And, Happy Father's Day to my most wonderful dad! I love you so very much and am so glad to have you in my life. I too am one "lucky little girl:)" This man can do ANYTHING, will do ANYTHING and is ALWAYS there for me! I love you, Dad.

Because It's Fun To Make Her Happy

These are some of the things you may find us doing to make our favorite little girl happy...

You may let her stick stickers all over you, until she runs out...

or, you may leave your shower running for an hour or so, so that she can have fun playing in the "rain."

You may let her play dress-up in the laundry before it has been folded/put away...

And you WILL let her pick blueberries because it makes for a good science lesson...

You will also teach her how to play t-ball, and not just because you are a HUGE sports of any kind fan either...

And you'll enjoy LOTS of Popsicles during the hot summer...

You'll really make her happy when you get out the slip 'n slide...

You'll definitely let her play in your boots because everyone knows how cute kids are in over sized boots that cover their legs completely...

And lastly, even if it IS bedtime and she has this great idea to dress like a fairy and let you spin her around until you're both dizzy, you will do it just because you KNOW it makes her happy :) and you love to see her happy!

It's That Fun

This week, Kenadie and I are enjoying going to Vacation Bible School every morning at our church. I am working with the Babies/Ones, which is where I worked last year, which is quite possibly where I will remain for my entire VBS tenure :) I have a couple of pictures to share that pretty much sum up Kenadie's day at Bible school. I look for this to be the pattern for the remainder of the week :)

And here she is only 3 hours later. Not even able to make it through lunch. Quite pitiful if you ask me, but she had a good time!

DO Feed the Animals

A few weekends ago, we took a little day trip to Folsom, LA to Global Wildlife. We had a GREAT time, and I definitely recommend it! We went on the 9:00 tour, so all of the animals were up, out, and ready to eat. Over the hour and a half tour, I took 156 pictures :) What on Earth would we do without digital cameras?!? I promise not to post ALL the pictures, but I can't promise that I won't post alot :)Ready for the tour to begin.
