Celebrate America 2010

I'm a few days late on posting about how we spent our 4th of July... We enjoyed a wonderful patriotic service at church Sunday morning honoring those who have served or are serving our country. Kenadie went to worship with us for the first time. I THOUGHT she would greatly enjoy all of the wonderful music, hundreds of balloons dropping from the ceiling at the end of the service, confetti shooting out... Well, we will just say that she made it through the service, but she wasn't as excited about it as I wanted her to be. Needless to say, I DO NOT think she will be begging to go back with us--ha! I think she enjoys the nursery maybe more than she thought :)

Awaiting the fireworks

Liking the fireworks

She decided she needed a new place to sit... fireworks are ALWAYS better by Papa!

Introducing some of my family: my dad's brother Veldon, his wife Karen, my cousin Ashley and her husband Tony. So glad they could join us. They were here visiting from Virginia and Texas.
