Spend the Night Company & Green Bananas

Some of my favorite pictures of Kenadie are the ones that are taken after she has gone to bed, not how you originally put her down. It's so funny to see how she arranges things once we have read a story, said our prayers, sang a song and lastly, said "sweet dreams, I love you." Aaron and I always take one last peek at her as we are going to bed. This night, apparently she tucked everyone else in after she herself was tucked in :) From left to right: Minnie, Kenadie, Dora's Mommy and Dora.Minnie is a bedtime staple, Dora and Dora's Mommy were the guests for the night :) She came up with the whole "Dora's Mommy" thing on her own--pretty cute huh?

It's hard to tell in the picture, but the bananas were much more green than yellow. From a two year old who until now, only knows bananas to be yellow, you are likely to get a response like "No Mommy, I don't want the green bananas, I want the yellow ones", which means, it's going to take some serious convincing that these bananas "WILL IN DEED turn yellow, I promise!" She settled for them being "magic bananas" that were green, but turned yellow after a couple of days :)
