Our Disney Top 10

We got back just over a week ago from a most magical Disney trip!  So magical that I managed to take approximately 560 pictures!  Considering that it would take me about two years to upload that many pics to this site, AND the fact that you wouldn't enjoy scrolling through that many of them, lol, I thought I would condense them by coming up with our "Top 10" most favorite memories of the trip!

I'm going to attempt to put them in order from least important, (however still very very much important) counting down to our ultimate memory :)

Okay, so let's get this started!  #10 should actually be dedicated solely to ME, however, I do believe the rest of the group would agree that this should indeed make the list!

#10 Minnie's Bake Shop Cookies
Oh my goodness gracious!!!  There's no cookie that's better!!!  There were several varieties, and we tried them all, but our my MOST favorite flavor was the Raspberry White Chocolate!  Coming in second would be the White Chocolate Chip!  The packaging doesn't scream "Buy me! Buy me!  I'm the best cookie in the world!"  But that's okay!  We won't hold that against them :)  These can be found in pretty much any gift shop, but that little Raspberry gem is a smidge harder to come by!  The other good thing about these cookies is that they can only be purchased in Disney World, which actually makes me sad, BUT when you're there, you're practically walking 20 miles a day, so the calories quickly disappear :)  It's like you really didn't just consume seven of them!  Yes, I did!  And my scale didn't budge!  That's another reason I love Disney so much!  The calories don't even add up there :)  Another Disney score :)

#9 Our Connecting Rooms
Plain.And.Simple.  My parent's room connected to our room!  No walking outside to get to the other room.  We usually just left the door open as one big room with four beds in it :)  This is especially helpful when you keep needing to borrow your mother's hairspray and contact solution and she keeps needing to borrow your sunless tan!  Or it's also good for when someones using your bathroom, there's usually an available one!  Or when you decided the best thing was to take your own Kurig, so you set it up in your parent's room and can just walk straight through, rollers in your hair and all, and fix coffee for your mother and yourself :)  Like I said...one big hotel room with four beds and two bathrooms equals perfection for our family :)  I didn't take a picture of the connecting rooms, ha!  I'm sure you can visualize.  I guess here would be a good place to mention that we stayed in a pirate room at Caribbean Beach Resort.  It met all of our needs, there were  no complaints and we would "recommend it to a friend!" :)

Okay, here is where the rest of my "top 10" are all so really great that it's especially hard to order them!  Just know, that there was barely any # that's all that much better than the next :)  Here's where the trip gets spectacularly magical :)

#8 Seven Dwarf's Mine Train & Soar'in
We've always loved Soar'in at Epcot, but new for us this trip was the Mine Train and it's at Magic Kingdom.  It opened I believe in March?  Awesome that we had a fast pass for it, but too bad that the line stays soooo long that we only got to do it that one time.  Smoothest roller coaster, no jerks, no drops, just a super smooth ride :)  It was Berkley's favorite with Soar'in being Kenadie's!  Pretty sure we rode it 3 times!

Mine Train riding buddies :)
And this is Kenadie's best "Soar'in" pose!
This picture didn't exactly make the Top 10, but it should have solely for its preciousness :)  This is Papa and Kenadie riding Goofy's Barnstormer.  I had a sweet view sitting  behind them :)

#7 Character Meals
As long as my children are little and are still very much in to the characters, we will do character meals :)  Every.Single.Sit-Down.Meal was with characters!  Character overload?  Maybe so!  But, it's a great way to get those autographs that my two love without having to wait in lines to do so :)  We only waited in line for a handful of characters, and those lines weren't too bad.  It can be quite time consuming to stand in too many character lines.  Just trying to use our time wisely!  Our thoughts are, ya gotta eat, might as well kill two birds with one stone and get some autographs/character pics while you're at it :)  There may be better food to be had at the non-character sit down restaurants, but for now, this works for us :)  I'll just look forward to that better food later :)  I'm not saying it's bad food, but typically the character meals are buffet-style and those food items kinda-sorta start running together.  Okay, so "buffet food" is not typically my favorite and I can usually find 2-3 things that are worthy of eating.  There! I said it!  The buffet food is not all that great, but the character greetings and atmosphere make up for it!  We're so tired and hungry usually when we sit down to eat, that we're not all that picky...

Day 1- Lunch at Cinderella's Castle!  An all-time fav!
Day 2- Donald's Tusker House breakfast at Animal Kingdom!
Parading around the restaurant with maracas...another reason we love character meals :)
Day 3- Hollywood & Vine, Play 'n Dine at Hollywood Studios.
 Sofia, her fav!
Berkley was all about this!!!  Confirming Kenadie has grown :(  She use to be all about the dancing too!  Now, "she's too big for that" :( Sniff, sniff...
All Berkley's favorites from Disney Jr.!
 Hola Handy Manny!
Day 4- Garden Grill at Epcot!  This would be last on our list :(  We don't recommend this one to a friend!
Day 5- Dinner at Crystal Palace with Pooh & Friends!
 Happy in her parade :)
Day 6- Before heading home, we did O'Hana's Best Friend's Breakfast!  A fav!
And her most favorite character from the whole trip!  Stitch :)  We are the proud owners of a large Stitch plush that currently travels anywhere/everywhere we do!

#6 My precious angel pie turned 7!!!  How can it be?!?

Goodness I love her so!!!
Her birthday breakfast at Tusker House, with a cupcake of course!
And a card signed by Donald Duck, Daisy, Minnie, and Goofy!
She requested this pic :)  She totally looks snazzily seven here :)

#5 Berkley dancing with Belle

The moment was truly surreal and took my breath away :)  Sappy??? Very much so, but it's true!  This was during Enchanted Tales with Belle, another favorite attraction at Magic Kingdom!  Every child that would like a part, is given one and you get to act out a little play with Belle herself :)  Yes, very cool!  Anywho, Berkley was chosen as the Beast, and let me just tell ya, her ROAR was quite ferocious, lol!  Not really...it was more like a little mouse squeak :)  But anyway, she was spectacular nonetheless :)  If you are the Beast, which I had forgotten this part, you are in essence the lucky one chosen to get to dance with Belle at the end of the "play" to "Tale As Old As Time"!  Ummm, yeah, so my eyes were COMPLETELY filled with tears!  It was the sweetest Disney moment ever!  I knew better than to blink or else my make-up would have been one hot streaky mess!  Kudos Disney for providing this mommy with a sweet lasting memory :)

And kudos to you if you have stuck this post out and gotten to here :)  I realize I haven't made it to my "#1" yet, but I also realize you may not need to give up any more of your day to reading my blog, lol!  I have been working on this post for over a week now, eeek!!!  Stay tuned for numbers 4,3,2, and 1 :)
