Happy Birthday to Aaron!

Today is Aaron's 29th birthday! Only one more year of being in his 20's...

Dinner at O'Charley's, followed by cake and ice cream

I love this sweet picture of Kenadie singing "Happy Birthday" to her daddy :)

And that's 2 candles on one side of his cake and 9 on the other to make 29, just in case you're wondering about the randomness of the candle placement...
Looks like no one in our family will have to worry about ever blowing out their candles or opening presents again... I think Kenadie will be taking care of that for us for a while :)

And what would a birthday be if the cake you ordered didn't quite look like what you were expecting? With it being basketball season, I thought we would go with a Southern Miss basketball themed cake. I requested it say "Happy Birthday Aaron" with maybe an iced basketball... I was thinking a basketball would really just be an orange circle with some black outlines... didn't sound too difficult to me :) but, I'm NO cake decorator either... Here's a close-up of the "Happy Birthday iced basketball cake" :)

They used the printed icing stuff instead, and I don't exactly recall asking for "Nice Shot" ha!... oh well, it was good anyway :)
